Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our services. Here is a clear breakdown:

We do NOT collect: your GPS location, device contacts, camera, microphone, payment card numbers, bank account information, or any other personal data beyond what is listed above. The app does not track your location at any time.

2. Why We Collect This Information

• Name and Mobile Number (App): To create and identify your account in the Shreeji Jewellers app, and to contact you for service-related matters.
• FCM Device Token (App): To deliver push notifications about live gold/silver rate updates — only if you have opted in to notifications. This token is sent to Google's Firebase servers to deliver those notifications. You can revoke this permission at any time via your device's notification settings, which will stop all push notifications from our app.
• Contact Form (Website): To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.

3. How We Store and Protect Your Information

• All data is stored securely on our server. Our website operates over HTTPS (SSL/TLS encryption) to protect data in transit.
• FCM device tokens are stored securely and used solely to deliver push notifications via Google Firebase's secure API. They are not publicly accessible.

4. Third-Party Services — Firebase (Google)

We use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications through our Android app. When you enable push notifications:

• Your device's FCM token is transmitted to and stored on Google's Firebase servers.
• Google uses this token to deliver the notification to your device on our behalf.
• We do not share your name, mobile number, or any other personal information with Google for this purpose — only the device token is involved.
• Firebase's own privacy practices apply: firebase.google.com/support/privacy

We do not use any advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or other third-party trackers in our app or on our website.

5. Cookies

Our website uses only essential, functional cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

• Session cookie: Keeps you logged in to the Purchase Plan Portal during your visit. Expires when you log out or close your browser.
• CSRF token cookie: A security cookie that protects our website forms against cross-site request forgery attacks.

We do not share any cookie data with third parties, and we do not use cookies for advertising or user tracking.

6. Children's Privacy

Our website, mobile app, and Purchase Plan Portal are intended for use by individuals aged 18 years and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18. If you believe that a minor has provided us with personal information without proper consent, please contact us immediately at shreejijewellers1998@gmail.com and we will promptly delete such information.

7. Data Retention

• App account data: Retained as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 10).
• Website enquiry data: Retained for up to 2 years from submission for customer service records, then deleted.
• FCM device tokens: Retained while push notifications are enabled on your device. Inactive or expired tokens are periodically removed from our database.

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

• Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Right to Correction: Ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Right to Deletion: Request the permanent deletion of your personal information and account (see Section 10).
• Right to Withdraw Notification Consent: Disable push notifications at any time via your Android device settings (Settings → Apps → Shreeji Jewellers → Notifications → Off). This stops future notifications immediately.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us as described in Section 12. We will respond within 7 business days.

9. How to Delete Your Data

To request deletion of your app account, Purchase Plan account, or any personal information we hold, please contact us by email or WhatsApp. We will process your request within 7 business days and send you confirmation once deletion is complete.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
